About Me

I’m a 20-something occupational therapist, living and working in my home state of Florida.  Where I was born, raised and where I bleed ORANGE and BLUE for my Alma Mater, The University of Florida.  I’ve been dating my boyfriend, I married the love of my life (known as Cheesepuff in this blog) for 3 going on 4 years 5 yeas, long distance.  I’m impatiently awaiting I’ve finally gotten his marriage proposal.  And we’re getting married on November 8th! We were together for 5 years before we got married.
Here’s a few facts about me:
I am: a member of the fifth generation of my family to be born and raised in Florida. A real “Florida Cracker.” The reason oldest children are stereotyped as bossy. So left-handed my mom calls me “right-hand retarded”. The one my college friends think of as a “Southern Belle”. My boyfriend’s fiance’s  husband’s “principesa” An occupational therapist. Competitive. Compassionate. Loyal. A die hard Florida Gator fan. I bleed orange and blue!
I love: my family, my husband,  my friends, my pets, spending time with them, traveling, a good book, finishing a project or a gift, my artisitic/craft pursuits, shopping- shoes, clothes, purses, gifts, it doesn’t matter; watching the Florida Gators, a good movie, good music, dancing, laughing, sleeping in on the weekend, snuggling with CP, sweet kisses, snuggling with the cats, afternoon naps, weekends, helping people, doing something small to make a big difference in someone’s life.
I miss: my family, my friends, my college days.
I hate: people who don’t pick up their feet when they walk, who don’t put their shopping cart in the corral, who drive slowly in parking lots waiting for a space to magically appear, people who are RUDE, LOSING- anything to anyone, being wrong, cleaning (esp. taking out the trash and scooping the litterbox).
